My first month as a Team Posing with Hannah Coach!
What a month to kick off my first month as an official Posing Coach.
From in person sessions at Feel Fit Studios in Bristol to the Team PwH Retreat in Yorkshire
We've had some incredible posing sessions as well as some amazing community moments, including the Pose to be Seen Challenge which has been so inspirational to see all of you pushing yourselves out of your comfort zones and daring to be SEEN!
Here's a little recap of the month plus a little review of my own posing and training journey as I head into my off season.
One to One Sessions
Two of my incredible Figure Athletes both competing this year.
Two very different Figure Athletes, with different experiences, muscle tissue and posing styles but some incredible improvements made in both sessions.
Deena on the left taking on her first season as a Figure Competitor after a successful first season in Bikini 2 years ago. Leaning into the discomfort of being seen on the stage, and being able to showcase her personality through her posing. Deena being the strong, powerhouse that she is wants to showcase her physique in the same way.
Powerful poses, simple but strong transitions and an epic routine to one of her favourite songs on the way!
I'm so excited by Deenas progress and cannot wait to see this hard work shine on stage
Ellen on the right competing as a First Timer later in the year in Toned Figure and has a great foundation for such a young age. At just 20, she has incredible muscle tissue to build on and learning these poses for the irst time felt natural to her! The next few months leading into her prep are going to be very exciting so stay tuned for this one!
The Team PwH Retreat
A weekend of amazing people, inspirational talks and motivating posing sessions!
Meeting all of you on this retreat was such an amazing experience. I was inspired by all of your journeys and it was lush to see you all make friends, memories and increase your confidence over the weekend
This community makes me proud to be a coach every single day and I'm looking forward to the next one already!
The Beginning of Off Season.....FINALLY!

Since prep ended in October, it's no secret that my body has been on Struggle Bus central. With recurring Sinus infections, Anaemia and critically low cortisol levels, I can safely say that my Post-Show was not "nailed"
After discovering my body was chronically inflamed post show due to adrenal fatigue and low cortisol, my only priority this recovery period has been to start getting well again. After a round of steroids (no, not the fun kind...still a natty!) my body has been given a fighting chance and I am finally on the up.
It's been a struggle lads. Having to take my training sessions lighter, with rest days in between each session, pulling back on foods due to low appetite and all of the emotions that come with seeing your body respond to that hasn't been the easiest......and I'm not the most patient with myself.
I've reminded myself everyday that health is more important. That the recovery is vital to be in a position to push. That my body cannot build without the tools to do so. Adopting this "no rush" mentality has gotten me through. Now it's time to start building, to get back to training intensity and to enjoy the process once more!
So if you've not had the perfect reverse, if you've struggled mentally, physically and emotionally since stepping off stage just know that you are NOT on your own.
I'm here to remind you that the stage is always there, your body is not. Your health and wellbeing will always come first because without that, you have nothing.
So slow down. Take a pause. Allow your body to do it's thing and you'll get back to that obsessively optimal bodybuilder lifestyle way faster than if you push yourself too much.... Short Term Pain, Long Term Gain.
and if you're really struggling, you know the community chat is always open to share and get support; or just to feel less alone
